Homecare Services are provided to people living in their own homes offering support to individuals and families in the areas of personal care, activities of daily living and home management.
The goal of the Homecare Services Program is to promote and maintain the well-being of individuals living at home and to provide in home services which will assist clients and/or families to function as independently as possible.
The Personal Care Program provides assistance to clients and informal caregivers with feeding, nutrition, dressing, grooming tasks and bathing.
Homecare support workers can also assist clients with meal preparation by planning and preparing nutritious and economical meals, assisting clients with grocery shopping lists, and providing guidance and instruction to clients on food sanitation and safety measures.
The Homecare Program also provides clients with Housecleaning services such as laundry, light housekeeping including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms and client’s room.
Homecare Support Services are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Homecare clients are charged an hourly rate for all provided services.
